The Unseen One
Hades was called the Unseen One because, like haze, he is never seen by other people, god, and the public. Whenever he appears, there would appeared an invisible haze that hides him from public's view, so his appearance was never accurately given. However, most people does describe Hades as a man clothed in black from head to toe wielding a bident. Resembling a pitchfork, a bident is a staff with with two pointed ends in contrast to the Poseidon's trident's three pointed ends. Representing the color of death, as the Greek describe it, Hades wore a black robe in Hades and a black armor with a black cloak when engaging in a battle or when he is in any place other than the Underworld. In the middle of Hell, Hades always sit on his throne of Ebony, watches over his people, the souls of the death in the Underworld.
